Kearney deserved a chance to shoot a buck of this caliber. If you remember, he also shot #22, which was the largest buck taken in 2009. Well, this buck of his was the largest of 2008. Think we should be going to Vegas to bet on the Final 4 this weekend with his kind of luck and ability.This is one of those photos that's quite easy to place on the Island. Chad also guided Kearney on that buck too. On the let background you can see the Wreck road snaking toward Black Mountain. In the right background you can actually see the headquarter buildings. It doesn't hurt that the building are painted white for them to stand out.
when I look at this photo, it just bring joy to my heart, knowing a great person like Kearney bagged this buck. Not only does this buck have some great non-typicals, but my eyes lock onto his unique triple eyeguards. This is another buck that proves that you don't need a buck to be 30" in width to be very impressive!
