Another example that width isn't everything. There's not a mule deer hunter alive who wouldn't shoot this toad, even though its "only" 26" wide. Just marvel at the mass and the double eyegards, not to mention the trash, especially on it's left side.
It's often contemplated how muc mule deer are related to whitetails. Well, this buck could be a throwback to his whitetail ancestry. His frame could be off a huge whitetail, all his points coming off his beam. No matter how you slice it up, a wonderful Santa Rosa Island buck. Congrats Jeff on this buck.
